A 14-year-old boy with autism was located Thursday morning in Hoffman Estates after having been missing since Wednesday afternoon, according to Cook County officials.

David Quattrochi was reported missing at 3 p.m. Wednesday from Little City, an organization that serves people with developmental disabilities at 1760 W. Algonquin Road in unincorporated Palatine, according to a release from the Cook County Sheriff’s office.

David has autism and is nonverbal, according to the release.

He was found at 7:30 a.m. Thursday in nearby Hoffman Estates and taken to a local hospital to be evaluated.
