Happy Birthday
Dec. 30: Abby Long
A few thoughts
What do you want for Christmas?
Ray Nedohon wants Maytag to invent the first washer/dryer combo that folds laundry.
John McNamara wants world peace and a million dollars in his bank account.
Beth wants Polish Christmas songs.
Becky wants to hear the bells. She likes real church bells the best.
D.U. wants to go play hockey.
A.A. wants to go soak up the sun where that is warm.
Marsha wants to see her toddler granddaughter on the high trapeze.
J.G. wants their dog to get better.
D.C. wants the nausea to go away.
Joe Biesk wants the Millennium Falcon, eastern Kentucky moonshine and a zero balance on the credit card.
Dawn Long wants her children to appreciate everyone and not worry about being friends with everyone.
Father Tom Mischler would like for people to see the real gift God has given to humanity to be unwrapped under the tree. It would be the discovery that love is humble enough to come into our lives as a fragile infant yet powerful enough to transform our lives.
Anonymous wants it to snow only on the grass, not on the streets, sidewalks or driveway.
K.H. wants the police to issue tickets to bicycle riders that blow through stop signs and stop lights. Maybe a court fine would teach them to obey the rules of the road just like cars.
Thanks
Thank you to Plumbers, Steamfitters and Service Technicians from Local 440 for providing 175 care packages for active duty military personnel for the holidays. This is the second annual “Fill the Foxhole” drive.
