A story Monday about Nancy Reagan’s death incorrectly stated her father’s position at Northwestern University’s medical school. Dr. Loyal Davis was chairman of the surgery department.
A story Sunday about the Recipe for Change program reported that Kevin Capozzi spent time in jail. He was charged with auto theft, but he was not convicted of the crime.
In Heidi Stevens’ Balancing Act column Sunday, an incorrect phone number was listed for tickets to Anita Hollander’s one-woman show, “Still Standing: A Musical Survival Guide for Life’s Catastrophes” at Petterino’s. The correct number is 312-422-0150.
In Rick Kogan’s Sidewalks column in Sunday’s A+E section, the timing of Clarence Darrow’s argument during the Leopold and Loeb legal proceedings was mischaracterized. It happened during the sentencing for the two men.
A Feb. 10 story about a lawsuit against the village of Niles over a proposed gun range and shop being dismissed erroneously said that the closest schools to the range are 5 miles away. Several schools would be within 5 miles, including Niles West and Niles Central high schools, which are only blocks away.
The Tribune regrets the errors.
