Usually when I go to the polls for an important election like the presidential election, I don’t just vote for myself. I vote for the future of my grandchildren and children. I hope people do the same thing, not just go on their history and vote for presumptive Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton and ruin our country for another four or eight years. We’re in trouble under President Barack Obama. We need to get somebody else. We should give Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump a chance. At least give the guy four years. See if he can keep his promises. This is a big election. It’s going to count on our future grandchildren and children. It’s nothing to sneeze at.

If you’re thinking of a condo or town home because someone else will take care of the exterior, don’t be so sure. Look beyond that unit you fall in love with and at the entire building, grounds and other buildings in the complex. Ask lots of questions! They will provide clues about the commitment of the management company, board and owners to maintain the properties, their values and your investment.

Sam tells us he would feel safer with Hillary Clinton running our country over big mouth Donald Trump. Well Sam, I don’t think someone who lies, destroys emails and then tells the American public she did nothing wrong is fit to run our great nation. As secretary of state, four Americans were murdered on her watch and this lady has the nerve to tell a congressional panel, “At this point, what does it matter?” Well Sam, I think it matters to the families of these four dead heroes who were serving their country to keep you safe. My question to you Sam is, if that was your son or daughter, would you still feel safe with Hillary as your president?

Four days after a concert at Toyota Park and 71st and Harlem looks like a garbage dump. The sidewalks and parkway are covered with beer cans, plastic bottles and rubbish. Toyota parking lots were cleaned up the next day. At $200 per ticket, you think someone in Bridgeview would make sure our walks are cleaned the same way the parking lots are.

Has the members of the Tinley Park Village Board completely lost their minds, or are they too lazy to do their job. They hire an executive firm from Atlanta to search for a fire chief, and it will receive $20,500 to conduct a search. They have a interim chief of fire prevention on staff who could be promoted chief and the search is over within the department rank and file. I guess it’s easy to write a check if it’s the taxpayers’ hard-earned money.

Responses from District 210 Superintendent Tingley on Aunt Nancy’s day care are unacceptable. Truth be told, this day care was set up to provide convenient, low-cost child care for District 210 staff. Taxpayers not only pay the staff excellent wages and benefits, but subsidize the cost of staff child care. It is a rigged system taxpayers.
If you are a Bernie Sanders supporter, you’ve got to like Sarah Silverman’s remark at the DNC: “Get a life.” I just love class.

Following the advice of the Bridgeview Tea Party contributor to Speak Out, I researched the allegation of a seizure by Hillary Clinton. Every site that came up was a far right site, many with quite hateful and bizarre articles. Interestingly enough, the lead paragraphs on each site were identically worded. Talk about mindless groupthink.

Removal of CEO Roger Ailes at Fox News may just be what is needed for what ails it.

Sen. Cory Booker gave a speech at the Democratic National Convention with passion and sincerity. He had no need for a teleprompter. He is an incredible speaker. Was he ever a toastmaster?
