More about gerrymandering: If we don’t get rid of those guys in the U.S. House and Senate, things will get worse. If we get a Republican president like nominee Donald Trump, Republicans will control this country and run us into the ground. U.S. House Speaker Paul Ryan lost the election in his state of Wisconsin when he ran for vice president. He’s in the House because Wisconsin’s so gerrymandered that they could vote in anybody they want. All the states around us are gerrymandered. Illinois is the only one out of the five states around us gerrymandered Democrat. They want to take that away and gerrymander it Republican. To fix redistricting, it should be done nationwide, so everybody’s vote counts.
Now that Tinley Park has allowed the closing of our recycling center, this means more trash in our cans and landfills. Will our trash pickup price now be raised? Thanks for looking out for us, Tinley.
People ride bikes without lights on them. I thought that’s against the law. If a car hits a bike, whose fault is it, the driver’s or the bicyclist’s? Why don’t you enforce the law on people whose bicycles don’t have lights on them? Stop them. Send them home. Have parents come pick them up. I see them riding and talking on the phone with two hands on the cell phone, or with no two hands on the handlebars. If they hit a bump how do they control the bike? Enforce the laws. Make it safe for these people, drivers, people riding bicycles and parents that are paying for them. Get your head out of the sand. See what’s going on.
I’m a concerned citizen. Well, this is a sure thing why not to vote for Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump. Indiana Gov. Mike Pence is a male chauvinist who wants to take away a woman’s right to choose to have a baby. We’ll have to go back to back-alley abortions if he has his way. These are two male chauvinists running for office. The women better wake up. This cannot be a good thing. Plus, the Republicans, if they get in, are going to change Medicare and Social Security. The seniors are not going to have anything. They’re not going to have good health care, and there will be very low benefits. Wake up, people. You have to vote Democrat.

The Republicans are not telling us anything. They’re not helping us in any way. All they’re doing is finding ways that they can find things against Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton. This is not what we want.
I watched the Republican National Convention to see what former Republican presidential candidate Chris Christie, the loudmouth from New Jersey, said. He’s the same guy that, as governor, has popularity equaling the U.S. House in the low teens. He blamed Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton for almost everything but the Holocaust. I don’t know how he missed that. These people in the Middle East have been fighting since the dawn of time. The foolishness is they’re fighting over whose God is right and wrong. It doesn’t make sense and never will as long as clerics run their countries. For him to blame Hillary over Syria, Libya, Lebanon and all these others places is ridiculous. Of course, that’s what he is.
I heard a Chicago Public Schools teacher getting very upset about Gov. Bruce Rauner’s former comments about half of CPS teachers being “virtually illiterate,” which, of course, he was wrong for saying. But the teacher also blamed Gov. Rauner for the state of CPS and the state of Illinois. That worries me about the teacher’s mental state. Where has he been for 30 years? The reason the state is messed up is because of people like Cook County Board President Toni Preckwinkle, House Speaker Michael Madigan and U.S. Sen. Dick Durbin; not people like Rauner. Wake up.

Another piece of the puzzle: It turns out Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump’s wife, Melania, didn’t graduate from college. She dropped out after one year so this is what we have. There’s a man running for president who tells nothing but lies. His wife is a common model who has no modesty, posed nude and posed in her underwear. Her husband is a big liar, and you want this for president of the United States? You people better wake up. That’s all I can say.
