Former Republican presidential candidate Ted Cruz is to Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump what traitor Benedict Arnold was to former President George Washington.

People should realize we’re really not voting for president. We’re voting to make the U.S. Supreme Court fair and moderate, to do away with U.S. House Speaker Paul Ryan who would destroy Medicare, Social Security and all social services with his budget plans and U.S. Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell. Controlling those three offices, Republicans will ride roughshod over regular American people. The wealthy will make more money. Corporations will pay less. Our deficit is caused by corporations not paying their fair share of taxes. When people realize that, maybe they’ll vote for Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton. The only reason I’ll vote for her is to keep Republicans out of the White House. That’s where the danger is.
Professional football players have very short careers. They’re entertainers. They have a right to make as much money as they can because, like I said, they have short careers. There’s a solution for Alsip Joe. Turn the television off and stay out of the stadium.

Well, finally we’re investigating. It’s a sure fact that Russia and President Vladimir Putin hacked into that Democratic National Convention email in order to frame Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton. Isn’t that funny that Putin and Russia have been doing business with Republican nominee Donald Trump for 30 years and it’s a known fact that Putin wants Trump to be president? I think this is a dirty deal, and I think hopefully it’s going to come out before November. We’re going to find out that Trump is not the angel that people think he is.

More about Indiana Gov. Mike Pence and former Indiana Gov. Mitch Daniels: They didn’t care. It’s all for big corporations there. The people living there complain about not having any services, but when you mention that maybe you should raise taxes, they don’t want to hear that. I’ve talked to people driving from New York to Illinois. They had no problem in winter until they hit Indiana. Then they’ve got to swing further and further south to get around the snowbound roads. I’m talking about toll roads that aren’t plowed, the ones they sold to Australia and Spain, who went bankrupt. Now they’ve got the Indiana Toll Road back, but don’t maintain it. They have three snowplows in the state.
First lady Michelle Obama was at the Democratic National Convention talking about Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton not being like Republican nominee Donald Trump in chasing personal wealth. Well, apparently Mrs. Obama has never been to one of the multimillion-dollar mansions that Hillary Clinton owns.

I’ve got to know. I wasn’t notified. Did the secretary of state say people don’t have to use directionals anymore, people riding bicycles don’t have to put lights on at night and you don’t have to obey traffic laws? Did I miss something? Did they pass any laws I don’t know about? Then why do I see two people riding on a bike? They’re not watching anything in the area. It’s an accident out there ready to happen. You can’t even see them. They don’t ride with lights on at all. There’s nothing at all. They’re putting their own lives at risk. Their family’s going to be notified, too, because other people let their children ride unsafe like that.
Claims that Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump’s “real America” is a buzzword for “white America” is a surprise. There are no buzzwords. Trump says what he needs. I’m not a good ol’ boy and I’ve never been privileged. I grew up poor on the southeast side of the City of Chicago in a multiethnic and multiracial neighborhood where you could safely sit on your front porch and not worry about drive-bys 24/7, or your child forced into one of 400-plus gangs currently in the city and surrounding areas. It was a place where you could shop in stores and not worry about them closing because 20 percent of their inventory was stolen every week.

The Islamic State of Iraq and Syria is the radical terrorist sect of Islam and they kill hundreds, if not thousands, of people worldwide, Also, statistics confirm that 75 percent of all crime in the United States is committed by someone who professes a belief in Christianity so, as I see it, if you want to rid the world of violence, eradicate religion.
