Orchard Valley Golf Course in spotlight

Orchard Valley Golf Course in Aurora has been ranked the sixth best public golf course in Illinois by GOLF magazine.

The ranking will be in the magazine’s September issues and online at GOLF.com.

“With so many great golf courses in Illinois, we’re thrilled that Orchard Valley has received such a prestigious ranking,” said Aaron Reinhart, Superintendent of Golf at Orchard Valley, in a press release.

Orchard Valley opened in 1993 and features four sets of tees for different skill levels.

“What makes Orchard Valley most attractive is its affordability and playability,” said Reinhart in the release. “The golf course can accommodate beginners as easily as it can challenge the scratch golfer.”

Owned by the Fox Valley Park District, Orchard Valley and Orchards Restaurant are maintained by Billy Casper Golf, which handles daily operations for both facilities.
