People need to constantly be reminded about the risks of leaving their pets and children in hot cars unattended. What the heck are these people thinking?
Who cares enough about Obama’s first date that they filmed a movie about it?
Being a Pokemon fan, as I was driving down the highway, I saw a cluster of men around a few pickup trucks walking around with their smart phones in the Pokemon stance I am so use to seeing. I pulled over, got out, got my coordinates and started searching. Got a hit right away and then one man in a hard hat came up to me and asked what I was doing. It is then I looked up and saw everyone had a hard hat but me-this was a road construction project. I promptly left.
Donald Trump shows us on a daily basis that he has no clue on what it takes to govern. The one thing that he is very, very, good at is mugging for the media.
I would never donate one penny of my hard earned money to these ridiculous politicians.
Everyone knows how texting has gotten out of control. Recently while in a busy crosswalk I observed a grown woman texting while crossing the street into heavy traffic totally oblivious to oncoming cars. Pay attention people.
To those who say abortion isn’t murder because it is only a fetus I can only say two things: When there is a miscarriage, should no one mourn because “it” was not a living thing? And when you can manufacture a person without it being a fetus first, let me know how that’ll work.
The next time the Town of Cedar Lake has a town-wide garage sale, I suggest they try to sell the town.
Conservative columnist Jonah Goldberg wrote a sad column on Friday. The mean ol’ media slammed Bush for not visiting right after Katrina, but excused Obama after the recent Louisiana floods. Let’s see, Katrina caused 1,000+ deaths, and Bush’s FEMA was incompetent. The floods killed 13, and Obama’s FEMA was first-rate. Apples and oranges, Jonah, apples and oranges.
As a Cubs fan, the main thing I worry about with the playoffs approaching, is they will have to play a team with a winning record.
Can you think of a worse president than Donald Trump? That is besides Hillary Clinton. How did we ever get into such a mess?
People should have voted for a presidential candidate who would have served their best interest. Bernie Sanders would have fought for the middle class and national health care. Instead we have two candidates who nobody thinks deserves to be president.
There are Quickly commenters that have no kids and resent paying taxes for schools. Perhaps these people are unaware that their property values are influenced by the quality of the schools near their homes.
Why would anyone care what the women in France wear to the beach? They should be able to wear anything or nothing if they choose. I don’t get it.
The chief executive of the state of Indiana now running for the No. 2 spot on the GOP ticket has time to attend rallies, fundraisers, give interviews, make speeches around the country and give explanations of what his running mate said or meant to say, but doesn’t have time to go to East Chicago in the midst of a lead poison crisis. But he did have time to go to Louisiana for a flood photo op.
The local football polls should stop comparing a 2A team that plays a weak schedule with schools that play and lose to 5A and 6A teams.
I don’t think Trump really wants to be president. He is just messing with us.
