When you ask Stuart Bernstein what Revive Designer Bathrooms considers its specialty, he leaves little doubt where to put the emphasis: “bathrooms, bathrooms, bathrooms,” says the five-year-old company’s CEO.

“Remodeling brings to mind the expression ‘jack of all trades, master of none,’ so we’ve chosen to take a different approach,” says Bernstein. “Focusing purely on bathrooms has enabled us to carve out a niche as a specialist.”

In the relatively short lifespan of the Lincolnwood-based company, Bernstein says they have accomplished distinct advances in bathroom remodeling. “Our pre-designed designer bathroom packages are ground breaking and a unique offering within the remodeling space,” he says.

“Many companies have found a specialty focusing on accessories, or parts of the remodeling process like tile, vanities, plumbing fixtures, etc. But our pre-designed bathrooms go further,” says Bernstein. “We have created an appealing, cohesive look that contemplates over 80 pieces and parts that come together successfully. And rather than charging a premium, we pass our volume savings to consumers so they can receive a complete package of fixtures and materials below list price. I haven’t seen this service offered anywhere else.”

According to Bernstein, while tile, cabinetry and lighting continue to raise the design bar, he has been the most excited by two distinct trends making waves in the industry: the emergence of the home spa and the continued innovation of technology into bathroom functions.

“There’s an increasing ability for the average consumer to create a spa atmosphere in their own home with features like steam showers, body sprayers and additional shower heads,” Bernstein says. “The other trend is the advancement of technology. Automated, LED-lit bidet seat covers on toilets, floor heating and showers that can be controlled through your mobile phones are all definitely on the rise and creating a lot of excitement.”
