My heartfelt thanks to the ER nurse from St. Mary’s who came to my assistance when the escalator stopped at Carson’s and I fell. I couldn’t see you, but I heard you and felt you checking me. I never got a chance to tell you and wanted you to know I am very grateful for your aid.
Any man who degrades women for sport has a serious problem with his own self image.
Gov. Pence, where are you? Haven’t seen you around for months, but I understand you’re still collecting your $111,000 salary. Do you think that’s fair to so many people who you discriminate against?
I’ve sometimes been dumb enough to buy a pig-in-a-poke. But a playboy pig-in-a-poke who won’t produce his tax returns? No way.
Trump promised to make Gary great again with his casino, but it filed for bankruptcy. If he can’t make a small city great again, what on earth makes you think he has what it takes to make a whole country great again?
The federal court’s unanimous rebuke of Mike Pence’s “fear” of Syrian refugees is yet another instance of Pence embarrassing the people of Indiana. He can hardly call this a partisan decision since the unanimous ruling came from three conservative justices.
Taking a billion dollar tax break may be legal, Mr. Trump, but it is not moral or fair, and you continue to take advantage of those who have lost their livelihood because of your bankruptcies. Your tax reform just puts what you do on steroids.

If political hacks are running the Dept. of Motor Vehicles and they can’t add or subtract or perform any mathematical functions or compute, the only winners will be the lawyers who collect their fees no matter what the dollar difference is in this lawsuit. To all Indiana citizens, this might be the price for being ignorant, since this suit is the second one in less than two years and the dollars are coming out of your pocket.
If we would all be serious, the GOP’s biggest problem with President Obama is his race. Their biggest problem with Hillary Clinton is her gender. They would rather obstruct and nominate a dangerous candidate than give up their Neanderthal ways.
I find it interesting the same type of people who thought Ronald Reagan was unqualified to be president believe Donald Trump is also unqualified.
Organized unions only represent about 20 percent of the workforce, unfortunately. Middle class families are not the enemy of a vibrant economy. We need all people across the income spectrum to do well in order to improve all of our lives. Trickle-down economics has never worked and never will. We need a serious change in our thinking about what will effect the most benefit for all people.
Donald Trump is constantly screaming about how trade with China is killing us. Now, Newsweek magazine has revealed that nearly all the steel and aluminum in his buildings was purchased from China — just like his “Make America Great Again” caps.
This is for all you vets who recently got out of the military and are expecting top-notch medical care through the VA. Don’t count on it. You’re better off getting stellar treatment through a private physician.
Jay Cutler and his injury issues is beginning to sound like, um, what is the name of that guy who used to play for the Bulls? Oh, yeah, Derrick Rose.
