Everybody talks about the weather but nobody does anything about it. It’s the same way with the politicians. They talk about the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs but none of them do anything for the VA, or if they fund money for the VA it gets channeled elsewhere.
The heroes of the younger generation appear to be basketball players and football players instead of the real heroes — the soldiers and the policemen who defend our country and defend our liberties.
What we need are more people with guns. We should have a gun in every pocket. We have Homer Glen officials and Will County Board members pushing for concealed carry and a gun in every pocket. Then we can have shootings here like Chicago. Most guns in Chicago come from Indiana. Indiana Gov. Mike Pence, who’s running as Republican vice presidential nominee, pushed for releasing gun restrictions. If he gets into Washington, D.C., just think what he’ll do. That clown National Rifle Association executive vice president Wayne LaPierre says a good man with a gun will always beat a bad man with a gun. Most good guys with guns aren’t looking for somebody to victimize.
The USA Today said neither candidate, Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton or Republican nominee Donald Trump, is addressing the heroin problem. Actually, Trump is the only one addressing the heroin problem. He is going to build a wall that’ll stop 90 percent of the heroin that comes into this country from Mexico.
If you put Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton in office, you’ve got eight more years of President Barack Obama. Obama has done nothing for Americans. Americans’ insurance companies are going broke because of Obamacare. He doesn’t worry about the Americans or the United States’ problems. He’s in a foreign country giving American money to foreign land. Eight more years of Clinton, eight more years of Obama. It’s the same ticket. Think about it.
This is in regard to the comment by John from Hegewisch. John, do you realize that most people affected by 45 percent estate tax have to earn over $250,000? Are you one of those people in line to inherit $250,000? That’s meant to have the rich pay their fair share. I wish you would get your facts straight. I’ve been following your comments in the newspaper. If you even Googled half the things that you’ve said, you’ve been wrong as much as Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump. That’s around 84 percent, according to fact checkers. If you ever get on a computer, check out how many times he’s lied.
