The Chicago production of “Hamilton” did not have its usual curtain call Thursday night. Instead, the mostly New York-based cast of the hit Lin-Manuel Miranda musical led the sold-out audience in a chorus of “Go Cubs Go!”

Several fans captured the raptuously received event on video from various vantage points in the house.

The solo highlight was Joshua Henry, who plays Aaron Burr in the show and whose soaring voice added unusual class and finesse to the timeless lyric: “Baseball time is here again / You could watch it all on WGN.”

As the cast sang and danced, Miguel Cervantes, who plays the title role, could be seen clutching a “W” flag.
