The person who commented about the lack of turn signal use is absolutely right because other drivers cannot read your mind. You should be in the habit of using them even in parking lots when you’re changing from lane to lane and/or pulling into a parking spot. It would make it a habit-forming thing that you would automatically do out in traffic to make it easier. Also, to the person complaining about the coverage for Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton who says he’s going to go to Canada: Whatever you do don’t tell them you’re a supporter of Republican nominee Donald Trump because they probably won’t let you in.
Why should we have to depend on foreign oil? We have billions and billions and billions of oil fields in America that we can drill in. It would mean 10,000 to 20,000 new jobs for Americans but we have President Barack Obama who loves foreign. He thinks more of foreign aid, foreign countries and sending American money to foreign countries. It’s disgusting. Drill in America. Let us have jobs. Think about it.
Chicago Teachers Union President Karen Lewis and all those teachers in the city of Chicago should be ashamed of themselves, saying that they’re all for the kids. All they are is for their own pockets. You don’t try to strike every year and say it’s for the kids when you just want more money for things that you’re not even doing. Shame on you. You should all lose your jobs. Just remember that what comes around goes around. Look at how greedy you are with things that you want the taxpayers to fork over for you because you think you’re entitled to it. You will be sorry that you’re doing all this.
As my dad used to say, “Give credit where credit is due.” Whether you’re a Cubs fan or not, this incredible and incredibly young group of men have to be congratulated for a magnificent season with a long awaited and much anticipated storybook ending. Thanks for the memories of not only this World Series Championship, but of all those before us who we remembered with heavy hearts.
Tinley Park
Thank you Cubbies for an extraordinary season and winning the World Series. Your enthusiasm and die hard spirit is what the city of Chicago needed. You make believers out of so many. Baseball fans of all ages celebrate this milestone with you.
