The Quickly reader who wants us all to stop posting nasty messages about Donald Trump seems a little like the ostrich that sticks its head in the sand, thinking that what it can’t see can’t hurt it. It’s probably somebody who helped elect Trump as president, and now would rather just not think about what they’ve done.
Alcohol is legal for adults to consume. It’s also illegal to drive a car, operate a boat, or fly an airplane while under its influence. What makes you think it would be any different with marijuana? Your argument against legalization (and all the rest of them as well, frankly) is silly and a non-issue.
When the seasons change in Lake and Porter counties, so does are blend of fuel and the price. And then we have to go sit in line, so they can get deeper in our pockets with a emissions test. Your car or truck can be falling apart, but if the motor runs like a champ you’re golden.
Donald Trump insisted the Presidential election would be rigged — until he won. The Democrats saw no problem — until they lost!
In the states that have legalized marijuana, it is still illegal to drive under the influence just like alcohol.
Before you get rid of the Electoral College, note that the states with the greatest populations will control this country. If you live in a state with a smaller population, your vote won’t mean anything. The big cities will control the government.
To the person who had their Christmas lights cut, that sucks. Lights are not cheap. All the time you put into it and money you spent on them is a goner. I was upset last year when someone unplugged my star shower. You have much worse neighbors. I still want to know who smashed my wrought-iron bird bath in my neighbors front yard.
I think it is funny as hell. Had Hillary Clinton won she would be having an absolute fit if Trump wanted a recount. She’d be saying accept the results but now that the shoe is on the other foot.
It is November and I am sitting here listening to someone mowing their grass. I’m assuming they’re either high, bored as hell, or sleep mowing. Who mows this time of year? Jeez! I hate mowing when the grass is growing!
The Republican Congress has spent the last 8 years playing obstructionists. Still Obama has managed to serve with dignity and morality. This small-handed dictator going into the White House is a serial liar, sexual predator, cheater, and tax evader. I hope early on he is nailed for conficts of interest and self-dealing before he gets us into a war because of his childish behavior and temperament. He will easily replace George W. Bush as the worst president this country has ever had.
