The Congressional Republicans are meeting in Philadelphia and, with rare exception, none of them have stood up against the ever-increasing presidential overreach exemplified by President Donald Trump’s steady flow of executive orders, the likes of which we have never seen. During the Obama administration many Republican congressmen and senators, rightly, bellowed their opposition to such flagrant abuse of power. Yet with this new guy in the Oval Office? Not so much.
