How funny that Hollywood and the Oscars messed up the biggest award of the night and gave it to “La La Land?” You can’t make stuff like this up.
Former British Prime Minister John Major is convinced that with their Brexit vote, British voters have made “a historic mistake.” Sort of like the historic mistake made by Trump voters here in the United States.
Wake up, people. Of course the GOP hates the EPA. It gets in the way of their donors making obscene profits with no regard for the foul mess they leave behind. Your children and grandchildren are the ones who will have to clean it all up.
Republicans have complained about Obamacare for 8 years and they still do not have a clue how to replace it.
I listened to the (Gary) mayor’s address and I don’t understand why she thinks any business would locate here. Gary is so filthy, there must be something that can be done. Has anyone noticed all the garbage around the dumpsters at Dollar Tree on 23rd and Grant? Are there not any inspectors to give citations to these businesses? I am a senior citizen and try to maintain my property, but behind my home there are old sofas and trash that makes it hard to get into my garage. The city has to do their part.
Your person in the White House was forced to denounce anti-Semitism, he toured an African-American history museum for show to fuel his ego, he and his father for years refused to rent to blacks until taken to court, he has made Steve Bannon (a white supremacist) his top adviser, he dislikes immigrants no matter where they are from, and he denigrates women. Does that answer your comment?
It’s good to see Einstein Republican Jim Tomes and the other members of the “A-Team” have reconsidered the wording in the protest bill from “keeping the streets opened by any means necessary” to “protect the public and keep roads clear.” Again, thank you Jim for wasting time and our money on subjects already addressed in city ordinances.
Certain media outlets were blocked from the White House Friday. This is how they retaliate when you report facts they don’t like. This is how communism looks.
The Reagan era is over. The Reagan party has been hijacked by the current administration. There is no resemblance. RIP Ronnie and all that you stood for.
Let’s sort this out. Governor Holcomb proposed a $10 million funding increase for sending poor children to preschool, which was cut to $3 million per year — $1 million of which was set aside for a new pilot program where families use provided, special software to teach preschool lessons from home. Do you actually believe poor families — more than likely a single parent working more than one part-time job and not having a computer or the training — could make this pilot program succeed? Dream on!
Does Senator Todd Young have an early case of dementia? He stated he could not support a nominee who sued the EPA then helped rubber stamp Scott Pruitt’s appointment. Would suggest he use the voice recording phone app in order for him to keep the “record straight” before inserting foot in mouth.
