TOP 10 VEHICLES OF 2017: The best vehicles to own from the class of 2017 have to perform well, act reliably, earn owner satisfaction and excel at crash test safety, according to Consumer Reports’ annual list of the best cars of the year. Toyota models took three of the top 10 spots; Chevrolet took two. Only vehicles that have been tested at the Consumer Reports test facility qualify for the 2017 ranking. The top five brands overall for 2017 are Audi, Porsche, BMW, Lexus and Subaru.
