Tympanic Theatre announced Tuesday that after producing 10 seasons in Chicago, it will close following its current production of “Waiting for Godot.”

The company, founded in 2007 by alumni of Florida State University, produced a number of new plays during its tenure, along with short-play festivals and live-album festivals — creating short plays inspired by artists from Bruce Springsteen to Radiohead. A previously announced live-album festival centered on the Beatles’ “White Album” has been cancelled.

“Waiting for Godot,” reimagined through the lens of the Latinx experience, runs through March 12 at Berry United Methodist Church, 4754 N. Leavitt St.
