Hitmaking singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran is playing the Allstate Arena Sept. 15 in support of his new album “Divide.”
Sheeran is returning to North America for a 48-date tour that begins in June, and will take him across the United States and Canada.
“Divide,” Sheeran’s third album, was released Friday, March 3 and is already on the fast track to beating Adele’s record for “25” and Oasis’ “Be Here Now” as the fastest-selling U.K. release ever, according to the U.K.’s Daily Mail.
The album’s lead single “The Shape of You” is currently No. 1 on Billboard’s Hot 100 in the U.S.

Tickets go on sale 10 a.m. March 17. Fans who register on Sheeran’s official website before 10 a.m. March 10 will have access to a pre-sale beginning at 10 a.m. on March 13. Tickets will be available to purchase through Ticketmaster and range between $40-$100.
