Chris Dominguez (three RBIs) and Chesny Young also hit their first homers, and Kyle Hendricks allowed one hit and struck out four in 43 pitches over three innings in his second start.
At the plate: The Mariners’ Luis Liberato hit a two-run, inside-the-park home run in the eighth. The ball hit off the top of the fence in left-center and bounced back into deep center.
On the mound: Four Cubs relievers allowed 11 runs and 17 hits in six innings, including four runs in the seventh and three in the ninth.
