Given that one billionaire with little qualification (or should I say no qualification) for being president got elected, I suppose Oprah Winfrey possesses at least a similar resume. However, I think the best billionaire, non-politician, star power candidate the Democrats could possibly nominate for president would be Mark Cuban, the owner of an NBA team. He is young in age and youthful in outlook, very outspoken and would run rings around a typical politician in a debate. He’s also an independent thinker, really kind of a visionary and a far brighter bulb than our current White House occupant. He’s a pro at marketing and would know how to reach out to the voters the Democrats need. At this point, since I don’t think Trump will be in office for four years, I can think of no better person to run against President Mike Pence in 2020 than Cuban.
