Veteran political consultant Marilyn Katz sent an April 2015 email to the mayor requesting a meeting or phone call to discuss several topics, including an ordinance that would have required scores of Chicago gas stations to install pumps for so-called E15 fuel, which contains higher levels of ethanol. Katz had registered as a lobbyist representing Americans United for Change, which backed the E15 proposal.
