The White Sox sent 18 batters to the plate and managed seven hits while scoring 14 runs in the top of the ninth inning of a 15-5 victory Sunday night against the Dodgers at Camelback Ranch in Glendale, Ariz.
The Dodgers committed three errors, hit two batters and walked three White Sox in the inning, which was highlighted by Jason Bourgeois’ three-run home run. He had three hits and five RBIs after entering in the seventh inning.
Matt Davidson and Yoan Moncada each struck out the first four times they batted for the Sox.
Bobby Wilson hit a two-run home run off White Sox starter Derek Holland in the second inning.
At the plate: Danny Hayes also had three hits for the Sox, while Tim Anderson and Melky Cabrera had two apiece.
On the mound: White Sox starter Derek Holland allowed two runs, three hits, three walks and struck out four in 3 2/3 innings for the White Sox.
