A man surrendered to Chicago police SWAT officers Thursday after barricading himself inside a home in the Magnolia Glen neighborhood for about three hours, police said.
The man was transported to a hospital for an evaluation.
Officers responded to a call of a person with a gun in the 5600 block of North Magnolia Avenue about 6:15 p.m., said Officer Thomas Sweeney.
