When in town, Eddie Vedder usually met up with famous friends, the so-called “Stanley’s Mafia,” a diverse group that includes Ryan Dempster, Chris Chelios, John Cusack and Kerry Wood. They all shared a mutual friend, Donnie Kruse, who owns the Lincoln Park hangout, Stanley’s Kitchen & Tap. Kruse died on Tuesday, March 28.
