Police said an Oak Park man has been accused of sexually abusing a child.
Police said Joshua Clark, 37, of the 500 block of Harrison Street, has been charged with aggravated criminal sexual abuse and sexual exploitation of a child in connection with an incident alleged to have taken place on Feb. 28.
According to Oak Park Police Commander LaDon Reynolds, the investigation revealed “one known incident” involving “inappropriate touching” that led to the charges.
Clark was arrested at 3:35 p.m. March 24 in the 1000 block of Lake Street, police said, and he appeared in bond court the following day.
Messages sent to Clark seeking comment were not immediately returned.
According to the Cook County Sheriff’s Office, Clark was ordered held on a $200,000 bond at the March 25 bond hearing. Clark posted bond on March 26 and was released, authorities said.
