I am writing in support of Jack Davidson for District 200 school board. I have known Jack for years, and he’s our guy, and here’s why:
* Jack has spent half of his career in process improvement and cost efficiency.
* Jack has a background managing large financial budgets — including a $150 million budget across five P&Ls and oversight of all proposals and contracts.
* Jack understands relationships, crucial to his business so for him this is standard operating procedure, but systemic of his approach.
* Jack is a long-term thinker, developing sustainable ideas so we can all afford to live our lives here — while expecting the same excellence as outputs from OPRF.
Our incumbents have worked hard, but in my opinion, hard does not always mean in-sync. I appreciate and value, insights and perspective each member brings to the board table, but I feel that accountability is a reality that we need at OPRF in short order.
Let us be honest, we need leadership that inspires accountability and results, driven by prescriptive outcomes. Let us elect leaders who are reliable stewards of our precious tax dollars that can also improve the educational experience and improve performance of our district.
