Heading to Napa for a little revelry? Recent non-political headlines may have been full of stories about renowned chef Thomas Keller’s new state-of-the-art kitchen and wine cellar at the French Laundry in Yountville. But we think “Keller” and we’re plunged into a state of serious craving for the crispy-coated poultry perfection served at Keller’s more casual eatery Ad Hoc — and at Addendum, Ad Hoc’s seasonal, picnicky pop-up.

Addendum reopened for the season in late March and is serving boxed lunches to-go from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. Thursday-Saturday throughout the spring and summer. And yes, of course, the buttermilk fried chicken is on the menu. They’d have a riot on their hands, if that bit of crunchy deliciousness wasn’t.
Addendum lunch boxes ($16.50) include fried chicken, barbecue pork ribs or a pulled pork sandwich, plus two sides. The chicken is available by the bucket as well.
Lobster rolls are a special menu item that will be repeated every holiday weekend through the summer, including Memorial Day (May 25-29), Fourth of July (June 29-July 1, and possibly July 3) and Labor Day (Aug. 31-Sept. 2, and possibly Sept. 4).
