Frankfort: The Frankfort Park District will hold its Elite Basketball Training camp, open to kids ages 9 to 14, from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. Wednesdays at Founders Community Center, 140 Oak St. Two sessions will take place, the first from June 7 to July 5 and the second from July 19 to August 16. This is a high-intensity program for serious players that will be instructed by Dave Esterkamp, who recently concluded a 13-year pro career in Europe. Fees: $45 resident, $50 nonresident. Palos Hills: Bill Finn’s Summer Basketball Camp, open to kids in grades three to nine, will be held from 9 to 10:30 a.m. July 10 to 13 at Moraine Valley Community College, 9000 College Pkwy. Frankfort: A Chicago Bears Youth Football Camp, open to kids ages 6 to 14, will be held from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. June 26 to 30 at Hallmark Sports Club, 10850 W. Laraway Road. New Lenox: Providence Catholic High School, 1800 W. Lincoln Hwy, will hold two football camps, open to kids in grades four to eight, from July 17 to 21. A fundamentals camp will run from 9 to 11:30 a.m. and a 7-on-7 passing camp will be held from noon to 1:30 p.m. Fees: $100 for fundamentals only, $135 for both camps. Southland: Marist High School will hold its annual Endowment Classic on June 2 at Midlothian Country Club, 5000 W. 147th St. Check-in begins at 11 a.m. with lunch and the driving range available until 12:45 p.m. There will be a shotgun start at 1 p.m. Fee: $300 (includes 18 holes of golf, lunch and dinner). Ice skating
Crestwood: Southwest Ice Arena, 5505 W. 127th St., will hold its next session of ice skating and pre-hockey classes, beginning the week of May 30.
