Songs about nature fill “HomeEarth,” the latest CD from the popular family entertainers Wendy & DB. The duo and their Funn Band will share songs from that CD plus hits from their other albums during a Summer Concert, 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. June 20 at North School Park, Eastman St. and Evergreen Ave., Arlington Heights.

“We have a lot of songs on the new CD. It’s all environmental,” Wendy Morgan said. Among the thirteen numbers are “Water Song,” “I Like Bees” and “Bugs that Give Hugs.” An early audience favorite is “Plant a Seed.”

“We have some silly songs that don’t do any environmental damage, like ‘Hopscotch,’ which is a jumping and hopping song,” Morgan noted. “We have a ‘Girl Superhero’ song. She’s working with Mother Nature. She comes along with a puppet.” Other puppet characters will visit during this highly interactive show.

Ten percent of the proceeds of sales of their CDs goes to charitable organizations.
