Unveiled in June, Pedal Geneva gave merchants the opportunity to decorate a bike in whatever way or theme they found ideal. Participating shops and restaurants are exhibiting their bikes around the Geneva downtown area until the close of Festival of the Vine, Sept. 10.
“We did a program similar to this in 2000 called Pedal Geneva. Earlier this year we began a co-op advertising campaign with neighboring towns promoting bicycling on the Fox River Trail. 2017 seemed like the perfect time to bring it back and celebrate ‘Year of the Bikes’,” says Geneva Chamber of Commerce President, Jean Gaines.
A visit to downtown Geneva will reveal over 50 colorful, imaginative and, of course, artistic bikes. “Like” your favorite bike on Facebook at Geneva, IL – Chamber of Commerce & Tourism, choose Photos and Pedal Geneva.
