
Looking for something to do to this weekend? We’ve got your jam, and more. From an early fall festival featuring Cubs legend Andre Dawson to a celebration for a 100-old-year forest preserve area, there are lots of fun things happening. Here are five of them:
*Dan Ryan Woods 100th Anniversary, 2 to 7 p.m. Aug. 27; Dan Ryan Woods Pavilion, S. Western Ave. and W. 87th St., Chicago; 708-386-4042.
Live music, archery and trail hikes are just some of the activities offered during this free event hosted by Cook County Forest Preserves. A jazz ensemble from Musical Arts Institute will perform at 3:30 p.m. and the West African highlife music group Ghanatta will perform at 5:30 p.m. Food trucks will be on hand, too.
*Fall Festival, 1 to 5 p.m. Aug. 27; Moraine Court Supportive Living, 8080 S. Harlem Ave., Bridgeview; 708-594-2700.
Cubs legend Andre Dawson will sign autographs and take photos with fans from 2 to 4 p.m. during this free event. American English will perform from 2:30 to 5 p.m. There will also be pony rides, craft and food vendors and a petting zoo. Suggested donation is one canned good for a local food pantry.
*Worth Days Festival, Aug. 24-27; Altman Park, 115th and Harlem Ave., Worth; 708-448-7080.
There will be live musical entertainment, food, a carnival, beer garden and family fun during the four-day fest sponsored by the Worth Park District. A parade and fireworks show are scheduled for Sunday.

Denise LaSalle, Lattimore and Enchantment are among the acts that will perform during this end-of-summer concert. Tickets start at $40.
