If the soda tax, according to Cook County Board President Toni Preckwinkle, is really for health benefits, it makes me wonder why SNAP card holders are able to use their cards to purchase sweetened drinks? If the tax is to help fight obesity, why doesn’t the county limit the purchase of sweetened drinks the same as it does alcohol and tobacco products when using a SNAP card? Shouldn’t we be concerned about the health of all Cook County residents?

The only answer to the fiscal mess in the City of Harvey are the voters of that city. I dare say this will continue until the city is bled dry by the current administration.

I do not have buyer’s remorse because of casting my vote for President Donald Trump. Denny thinks he is a mind reader. Denny just accept that Trump’s base support is rock solid.

You know liberals don’t care about America when they get offended and enraged over a hat that says make “America great again.”
