Season stats: Grillo paced Notre Dame with a 41 in a dual with Oak Park-River Forest on Aug. 24 at Meadowlark. The Dons lost the dual 168-171.

Best game: Grillo earned medalist honors at the season-opening Sandwich Invitational on Aug. 19. The tournament used a Stableford scoring system and Grillo finished with 35 points. Grillo helped the Dons win the 10-team invite with 127 points.

Best game: Niziolek won the District 207 meet in 18 minutes, 22.8 seconds on Aug. 29 at Maine East. The first seven runners to cross the finish line were Hawks at the meet against Maine East, which took second, and Maine West.
