Texas is in the midst of a huge disaster. And both Texas senators asked for federal disaster relief even though both voted against disaster relief for flood victims in New Jersey. Given that Texas has no state income tax, an income tax should be passed and the money collected could be earmarked specifically for flood preparation and relief in Texas.

I agree with the Speak Out writer BJ from Frankfort. First lady Michelle Obama was nowhere to be found with Hurricane Sandy because it wasn’t important to her. Mainstream media coddled and protected her. The double standard marches on because liberals are fake.
Well, I’m reaching out to the people of Manteno to respond back since I’ve taken notice that many people there are driving around town with golf carts, including RT50. This is new to me and I was wondering if this is something new under local ordinance that permits local residents to use golf carts to save the environment. Wow, these folks have some really nice golf carts in town.
With over 100,000 homes damaged by Hurricane Harvey, now there is a definite need for skilled craftsmen in the state of Texas. But where will skilled craftsmen come from? Our local schools do not help fill this problem with their computer based curriculum. Not every young person is going to be the next Steve Jobs, whether they like it or not.
