The Cubs are so predictable: They score double digit runs in a game, then the next three to four games, they do nothing. So much inconsistency. If they make playoffs, they’ll be knocked out quickly.
I find it interesting that with all of the huge problems in this country and the world today that so many people are enraged over a tax on a product no one really needs. I do feel bad for the merchants whose overall sales are down because junk-drink addicts are doing their shopping elsewhere. Perhaps, they should lower the price of these drinks by a penny an ounce to get their customers to return.

Any Cook County Commissioners who voted for the ridiculous soda sales tax better “count their chickens” and enjoy their cushy jobs now. Democrat commissioners . . . who backed this tax, had better hoard their “chickens” because they’ll all be gone, even if repealed before next year’s election. . .
