#HireTrans Chicago is a new campaign encouraging area employers to hire “transgender, gender nonconforming, gender expansive and non-binary individuals. More than 60 people, mostly from Chicago, have stepped up to be part of the “visibility campaign,” in which designer Patrick Olson offsets each photograph of a trans person with a quote about the person’s career experience or aspirations.
