The President of the United States has declared that the shooter in the church in Texas was a nut case. That being the case, the obvious solution to the problem is to have each gun owner have a yearly psychiatric test to prove their competence to bear arms. Simple, case closed!

Alex Jones wasted no time in tying the Texas shooter to Antifa groups with nothing to prove his claims. Stop this madness!

To prevent copy cat mass shootings, the media should limit themselves to 24 hours to present news stories, then move on. Publicity televised for days and weeks just encourages others to seek the same morbid type of fame.

Any new gun laws, rules or regulations need to go to the voters. Enough of the politicians being ruled by the NRA.

Trump to reporters “The reason our stock market is so successful is because of me. I’ve always been great with money.” Yes, other than inheriting millions and all of those bothersome bankruptcies, everything else was really, really great.

The estate tax Trump wants to eliminate was implemented to stop family dynasties. If wealth passes untaxed to the next generation, it would eventually create a new class of trillionaires. This tax is healthy for our economy and only effects those individuals with estates over $5.5 million dollars or married couple worth over $11 million.

The easiest way to assure us of no foreign influence in our election process is to switch to a public finance campaign option. The taxpayer funded campaigns would make it illegal to take any ads other than those financed this way.

Rumor has it that an elementary teacher asked a very precocious third grader to give a definition of the word “nightmare.” The student said, “I have three. Webster: Bad dream. Democrats: The 2016 election. Republicans: Robert Mueller.” With a response like this from an elementary student, I am convinced that our future is bright.

Republicans are whittling away at the EPA, have absolutely gutted consumer protection laws, and now they’re out to repeal the endangered species act. And everything’s in the name of “economics” and “commerce.” Welcome to the dark side of capitalism.

The Mercer family that owns part of Breitbart News, financed a large part of Trump’s campaign. But for some reason, Robert Mercer “forgot” to pay 7 billion in federal taxes. I guess his excuse can be that he was too darn busy meddling in important elections, to worry about something as petty as paying taxes.

After Robert Mueller is done with his investigation into the Russian probe, the president should get a investigation going to look into the Clinton Foundation, and use somebody that doesn’t have ties to the Clintons. The money the Clinton Foundation took from foreign countries while she was Secretary of State and the Uranium deal, where Russia took over 20 percent of our Uranium, need a closer look, don’t they?

At least 9 people in Trump’s orbit had contact with Russian’s during the campaign. They also “forgot” to disclose these ties. The worst part is that nobody in Washington is too concerned about these “minor details.”
