It is high time for the Lake County Council to demand that Jamal Washington resign from office. Another arrest for domestic violence is two too many. It is way past time to go.

Roy Moore, the Senate candidate in Alabama that Republicans (and pro-lifers and evangelicals) are rallying around, is an accused pedophile, co-authored a book declaring that giving women the vote was “a mistake,” and now we hear that he says the last time America was really great was during the time of slavery before the Civil War, because then our families were “united” and our sense of national purpose was “clear.”

May there be mercy and forgiveness for anyone who votes for a senator who dated children.

The Republican message is Nazis and White Supremacists are cool and voting for a child molester is better than supporting a Democrat. Got it.

I hope our elected officials refuse to tolerate any more obstruction of justice by Trump. They need to man up and do the job they were elected to do.

If I want to watch anti-establishment news on TV, I turn on “The View”. If I want unbiased, down to earth news on TV, I turn on Tomi Lahren or Lou Dobbs. If I want to read anti-establishment news in the newspaper, I go to the Quickly column. Unfortunately, there is no unbiased newspapers any more where you can get the unbiased story and take it to the bank! What has happened to America?

The Koch brothers and the Mercer family warn that if they have to pay higher taxes they will have to layoff as many as a dozen Congressmen.

Here is a crazy thought, maybe if these multi- millionaires and billionaires actually had to pay their fair share of taxes, they wouldn’t have so much money available to buy our politicians.

LaVar Ball has pulled his son out of UCLA because he was on suspension for stealing while in China. He pulled his younger son out of high school because he didn’t like the coaches. Now he found an agent and is looking for an overseas team for both of them. Maybe they can go and play in China for 10 years.

Even though the Democrats did the right thing by forcing the removal of of their colleagues with questionable pasts, don’t think that will shame or force the Republicans to do the shame thing. Remember, the GOP does not have any shame.

Trump supports Roy Moore because they are just alike, but why don’t Republican women speak up and support the MeToo women. I guess the GOP boys won’t let them.

Defense Secretary Jim Mattis disclosed that the previously disclosed number of 500 troops in Syria was incorrect. Now there are 2,000 troops there because the Trump administration changed how troop numbers are publicly counted.

Nine out of 10 veterans will see their taxes raised under the Trump tax plan, just to give CEOs a huge tax cut. Is that how Republicans reward their sacrifice for our nation?

Ten middle school students vandalized three elementary schools to the tune of $10,000. This was not a one time deal, but three separate occurrences. They planned this and were well aware of their actions. They are old enough to be punished with some serious community service to pay back every dime of their damages.

NFL commissioner Roger Goodell signed a contract extension worth about $200 million for 5 years. This will make Trump furious who blamed him for not caving to his demands to force players to stand for the National Anthem.

Now Trump is trying to insert himself in the decision-making of our American athletes going to the Olympics. Once again, this is not his decision to make, and he has plenty of other things to concern himself with.

Why would the Roy Moore campaign hire an agitator from Ohio to be his spokesperson? Isn’t there anyone in the entire state of Alabama that is qualified to speak professionally on behalf of their state’s most well known citizen?
