Chicago used to have higher speed transportation on the Blue Line. Perhaps it’s time to recall that the Blue Line, when it first began operations, had A and B stops. Not all trains stopped at every platform along the way. Travel time to or from downtown from the farther western stops was half the time it is now. What happened to that configuration?
