With the rollback of the IRS rule prohibiting tax exempt religious organizations from political endorsements, it will be perfectly okay for a pastor to preach from the pulpit that if congregants don’t vote a certain way they will go to hell. And millions will believe it, and will vote accordingly.
Our racist in chief has certainly done a lot for the image we have as a county in the eyes of all of the world.
All this anger, rightfully, towards the kids who vandalized some of our local schools, and yet we have a President who commits some act of vandalism against our culture, our traditions, and our international reputation on practically a daily basis, and millions of his supporters cheer him on. It just doesn’t make sense.
Trump roars that Americans “cannot afford to elect a Democrat,” as though if Doug Jones wins in Alabama it will be the end of the world as we know it. They must elect the pedophile instead! Trump says we don’t need to be politically correct. So here we go, Donald Trump is an absolute idiot.
There is no “War on Christmas.” You are just a privileged white bread neurotic who needs to stop blaming others for your own problems.
Even if our President Trump has no more accomplishments during his terms, the fact that he kept Hillary out of office reserves him a spot on Mount Rushmore next to the other great leaders.
Trump still goes ballistic about the amount of people at his latest rally. No one cares how many people attend his rally. We care about his mental illness. We care about his pathological lying. We care about his racism, his sexual harassment, Russia stealing an election for him, his unending cruelty and we care about removing him from office. That’s what we care about.
Just remember those candidates with the big “R” behind their name when all the lies and false promises prove out to be just that. Anyone that claims to be an American and votes the party line is not fit to continue in office. How much more are you voters willing to take?
I’m sure scanning every license plate in a parking lot does indeed help the Hammond PD scoop up “criminals”. You know what else would work? Unannounced, warrantless door-to-door house searches. Or how about just frisking people at random? If you’ve got nothing to hide, surely you don’t object, right? Who needs that fourth amendment anyway?
Under the GOP tax reform bill, nearly half of Americans will see no change at all in their taxes, and many in the middle class will actually see their taxes increase. At the same time, every single person of wealth and every corporation will see a whopping reduction in what they pay — including Donald Trump and family, who falsely claim that they will save nothing at all. It’s estimated that elimination of the estate tax alone could save them a billion dollars.
Between working folks and our employers, we have paid 15 percent of our earnings into social security for our entire lives. Now that it is time for us to collect, they are giving the money away to the rich folks through Trumps tax cuts. They call it entitlement, I call it reimbursement.
