The feds are asking for a 15-year prison sentence for Sheriff John Buncich. Is that long enough? The corruption in Northwest Indiana keeps going on with no apparent deterrent. Until the sentencing is so severe, this corruption will continue. The risk appears well worth their time.

Will Senate Republicans find the courage to reject any of these Trump nominees for lifetime appointments to the federal judiciary who have been rated “unqualified” by the American Bar Association? Of course they won’t. If they can be counted on to rule against LGBT rights, abortion, or voting rights, Republicans will find them perfectly acceptable. Nothing else matters. Oh, and rule against labor unions, too.

To all of you malcontents that get so upset when everyone complains about the president: Every single day, he gives the public a variety of things to call him out on. Nobody is making anything up. There is no need to, just wait and the president will come through.

Watch how fast a liberal’s opinion will change if Oprah the billionaire runs for president verses president Trump the billionaire. Suddenly a billionaire for president has got them in a tizzy, and is the best idea of a century. Double standard? You tell me.

Which group of political bozos can I blame for all the unsolicited robo calls I get daily? I screen these calls but they are so clever as to use bogus numbers and even disguise with local numbers and names. Come on politicians, this needs to stop now.

If Trump wants to deport people for nor speaking proper English, he can start with himself, then his own supporters.

If Donald Trump, Mike Pence and Paul Ryan were drowning and you only had enough time to save one, and your choice would determine who is left in control of the country, what type of sandwich would you make?

Trump’s attorneys tried to get the publisher of “Fire and Fury” to cease and desist. They responded by saying that they didn’t list one statement that was false and “Your letter seems designed to silence legitimate criticism.” The publisher also reminded Trump that in the event of a lawsuit, he would be have to comply with preserving all legal documents in his personal and government capacity.

So here we are, the cat is out of the bag. Trump is not mentally well, not really functioning. Essentially, generals are running our country and Republicans are willing to sacrifice the good of the country for personal gain. This is not going to end well. History is going to be brutal to all of them.

Taylor Michael Wilson, from St. Charles, Missouri, has been charged with terrorism. He breached a secure area of an Amtrak train armed with weapons and ammunition. He also is a white supremacist. Why was this news hushed-up? Because he was an American? He didn’t fit the profile of the president’s agenda? Terrorism is terrorism regardless of who is doing it.

White House spokesman Hogan Gidley tells reporters on Air Force One that it is repugnant and grotesque that Steve Bannon went after two of the president’s children who are “serving this nation,” sacrificing in their service. Asked what Jared and Ivanka sacrificed, he said their personal lives. The fallen heroes in Niger sacrificed their personal lives; the Trump children, not so much.

Trump said, “Oh, are you happy you voted for me. You are so lucky that I gave you that privilege.” This is what he said to the farmers in Nashville. And then you wonder why anyone questions his mental state. Nobody in their right mind would ever say that.
