Will loyalty to a party rather than our country be the undoing of our democracy?
A previous Quickly said it would be nice if Trump used Twitter to inspire, to unite, to create. You should run for public office. You have the right outlook!
A Detroit man brought to the United States as a child 30 years ago, and who has worked here and raised children of his own, has now been deported to Mexico where he has no job, no home, and no family. Now his family has no father. This is the ugly face of Trump’s and the Republican Party’s immigration philosophy. To say it’s inhuman is an understatement.
How do you trust a president who is blatantly racist? His behavior is unacceptable. It is hard to believe anyone who professes a belief in God could have ever supported him.
Until the far left liberal progressives start practicing what they preach — which is tolerance for different viewpoints — this country will continue to be in trouble. The Democratic Party needs to look in the mirror and maybe they’ll see what racism in America really resembles. You can’t solve problems when you’re always pointing the finger.
I’m sure Senator Dick Durbin was absolutely devastated by being called “Dicky Durbin” by the master inventor of insulting monikers (“Crooked Hillary,” “Little Marco,” “Lyin’ Ted Cruz,” etc.). And it only took Trump four days to come up with it. Maybe he had help from a focus group of third graders.
There is no steam in the story about Trump paying off a porn star to keep quiet. He does so many other insane things this is story ends up on B7. Any other president would be impeached for ethics violations; With this guy, it is business as usual.
Republicans should remember this. Trump will be gone but the memory of his term in office and how YOU performed will last in the memories of all of us and many people in other countries for many years.
Without a doubt, the new GOP tax cuts have accelerated the pace for manufacturing growth in the U.S. But, we already have more jobs than applicants. Where are these people going to come from to fill these jobs? These are new jobs of all skill levels, yet most of these immigrants have no skills. Instead of restricting immigration, we need to open it up but put down some skill requirements. I agree with illegal immigrants who commit a crime being deported, but there needs to be a program to push these illegals into becoming legal.
I don’t understand the brouhaha around funding “The Border Wall”. President Trump promised, in fact “guaranteed” that Mexico would pay for the wall. We just need to wait until the check clears and then build the wall.
The article about closing either West Side or Emerson said West Side has 760 students. The IHSAA said they have 1,046. Who is right?
With its membership in the Interstate Voter Registration Program, Indiana is among the nation’s leaders in purging eligible voters from the voting rolls for the flimsiest and most unreliable reasons, under the leadership of notorious voter-suppressor Kris Kobach, Attorney General of Kansas who runs the program out of his office. He and Mike Pence were co-chairs of the infamous Voter Fraud Commission before Trump disbanded it rather than have its records made public.
