Our attitudes toward the opposite sex is formed early and shaped by our families. A family where a mother is respected and her input is valued, would rarely produce abusive male children.

Republicans in both the House and the Senate absolutely refuse to admit Democrats to policy discussions, and then work up all this lather of righteous indignation when Democrats refuse to just rubber stamp whatever it is they decide behind their closed doors. Senate filibuster rules are the only lever that Democrats have right now, and of course Trump wants to eliminate even that.

Trump’s re-election campaign released an ad saying “Democrats who stand in our way will be complicit in every murder committed by illegal immigrants.” Is that like saying the GOP is complicit in every murder committed in America because they refuse to address the lax gun laws because they are being paid off by the NRA?

I guess we are lucky we didn’t end up with Stormy Daniels as our first lady.

A current fad on college campuses is to bite into or ingest a Tide detergent pod. They either have too much time on their hands or paid someone to take their entrance exams.

Congress and the White House is controlled by Republicans. Still, with fewer voting seats on all levels, the Democrats are being blamed by the Republicans for the shutdown. Obviously the Republicans are a divided party. Don’t let Trump know the Democrats are apparently the ones with all the power.

The free press claims that President Trump has told over 2,000 lies in a year. That’s 5.5 lies a day. And then people wonder why the free press is losing credibility. Maybe because that doesn’t seem natural to anybody with a brain? (Expletive) is what my old man used to call it.

I wish someone would buy Fox News and start reporting the truth.

Indiana’s junior Senator Todd Young seems to forget that Donald Trump did not elect him. The people of Indiana did, and they’re the ones he should be representing.

Reverend Franklin Graham declares that Trump is not perfect, but “has Christian values.” If Graham ever gets tired of the pulpit, he can always pursue a career as a standup comedian.

Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer just showed the American people that shutting down the government and putting illegal immigrants in front of any other thing on the planet is his first priority. And it took him four days to figure out the blame was on him. That’s your Democratic party, front and center and staring you in the face.

OMB Director Mick Mulvaney “I found out for the first time last night that the person who technically shuts the government down is me, which is kind of cool.” There is absolutely nothing “cool” about shutting down the government. This administration is incredibly awkward.

Senator Claire McCaskill tried to pass a bill to guarantee military pay and death benefits during the government shutdown, but the GOP leader Mitch McConnell blocked it. They need to stop placing blame on the other side. Show up when you are ready to work, otherwise turn in your resignation.
