Since you asked, my only issue with the SOTU address was that it was a pack of lies and race baiting delivered by an orange ignoramus. Other than that, I would say it was an OK, if bland, speech.
Instead of the famous “silent majority,” Trump’s followers constitute a “loudmouthed minority.”
According to Kathleen Parker, a conservative journalist, if Obama had done any of the things Trump has done, he would have been impeached in the first week of his presidency. Trump, on the contrary, receives nothing but adulation.
So many rumors spread by the Washington Democrats , and watching it play out at the president’s SOTU speech was nothing short of a sad day for the country. And having commented about the Trump hate train coming to a end some months ago, you saw firsthand how the Washington elites in the Democratic Party behave when the president tries to unify the country. No respect for anything that the president tried to lay out; just more hate with one member of the party walking out because in his mind people here illegally rule the day. There’s no room for conversation in the Democratic party anymore — just my way or the highway!
The Democrats didn’t stand for Trump as they didn’t think he deserved it. They may not have been standing but rather were standing up for what is right. They were elected to carry the message for those who elected them and I think that message was loud and clear. Please remember, less then 40 percent of our country currently approves of Trump.
As bad as you may think the Democrat’s demeanor was during the State of the Union address, none of them shouted “You lie!”
TNT Motors & Marine were told by the City Council of Hobart to put screening up to shield it from neighboring residents. How about Balash towing at 73rd and Colorado Street? It is a mess and there’s usually a truck being worked on in the driveway and across the street is the junkyard. It’s just blocks off the busiest corridor in NWI.
We will investigate the FBI but not the Russians hacking an election? The House and Senate overwhelmingly vote to continue sanctions but the White House says no? What will it take for Trump supporters to realize our democracy is in danger?
I would like to know about the FBI investigation. The FBI and the Justice Department — some members — did some very bad things during the Obama administration and this needs to come out to the American people. I deserve to know whether it’s a Republican or a Democratic presidency.
