Infant Jesus of Prague Church: 1101 Douglas Ave. — The Infant Jesus of Prague Prayer Group offers a monthly Mass and Healing Service at 7:30 p.m. March 5. Mass and prayer meetings will be held all other Mondays of the month.

Hometown

Our Lady of Loretto: 8925 S. Kostner — The Women’s Guild will hold a Fish Fry from 4:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. Feb. 16, Feb. 23, March 2, March 9, March 16 and March 23 in “B” Building. The menu includes a $9 fish dinner, $11 shrimp dinner and an $11 fish and shrimp combo dinner. All dinners include baked potato or French fries, cole slaw, dessert and coffee. Other items for sale include pasta, grilled cheese, zucchini sticks, cheese sticks, soup, bottled water and pop. “Loretto’s Luscious Creations” will be on sale. A raffle with prizes of gift certificates and a grand prize 40-inch television set will be held. Winner need not be present.

Homewood

First Presbyterian Church of Homewood: 17929 Gottschalk Ave. — Free community dinners will be from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Monday evenings in Westminster Hall. Tuesday Bible Study will meet from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at Panera Bread, 18416 Governors Highway, Homewood. Participants do not need to be Presbyterian and no purchase is necessary. The annual Meeting of the Congregation and the Corporation will be at 12:30 p.m. Feb. 18. A potluck luncheon will be held in Westminster Hall prior to the meeting. Mt. Greenwood Community Church: 3509 W. 11th St. — The Father Perez Knights of Columbus Council No. 1444, Southside Pregnancy Center and Parkwood Baptist Church will sponsor the fourth annual Southside Rally, “Standing for Life, Family and Faith,” from 9-11 a.m. March 18 at Mt. Greenwood Community Church. The event will include a celebration of student essay and video contest winners. New Lenox

Lincolnway Christian Church: 690 E. Lincoln Highway — Comedy Date Night for couples and singles will feature The Comedy Angels Michelle Krajecki, Leslie Norris-Townsend and Tracy DeGraaf at 7 p.m. Feb. 16. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. The program includes 90 minutes of comedy, followed by a reception including appetizers and sweets. The cost is $20 per person.
