Call this what it is, besides separating kids from their parents — it is kidnapping. Kidnapping: To steal, carry off, or abduct by force or fraud, especially for use as a hostage or to extract a ransom.

Conservatives get so upset about immigration. Other countries keep sending us their tired, their poor, their huddled masses yearning to breathe free and the wretched refuse of their teaming shores as if we are holding the light above the golden door.

How much of our tax money is being spent on keeping those coming into our country seeking asylum in prisons and keeping children, some in cages, locked up. It makes me feel like we are all a part of this terrible decision made by this president because he is angry about not getting the funding for his wall. I feel like we are living in a dictatorship in a third world country.

It was Stephen Miller who pushed the Trump administration to use the “nuclear option” of separating children from their parents at the border. The last time that I checked, Stephen Miller is not a Democrat, and ripping children away from their parents is a Republican policy.

Rep. Steve King doesn’t understand the fuss over immigrant children being placed in detention centers-after separation from their parents. He says they are getting great care and having more fun than most American kids. He raved about the kids getting exercise, meals, and a warm place to sleep, not to mention medical treatment. This man is demented beyond belief.

How on earth can Trump claim that it’s “the Democrats’ law” that forces separation of immigrant children from their parents? Democrats have no legislative authority to do anything at all. It’s Trump and the Republicans who hold all the cards. But of course he’s addressing this brazen lie to his gullible supporters, who will believe anything he says. His mendacity gets worse by the day.

I just saw Bill Clinton and James Patterson’s new novel “The President is Missing.” Given our current president I don’t know why anybody would be upset.

Trump wants Americans to stand at attention when he talks, and now his puppet Republican House members give him funding for his military parade. This is not only insane, it’s scary.

Dr. Colleen Kraft, President of the American Academy of Pediatrics said, “Highly stressful experiences, like family separation, can cause irreparable harm, disrupting a child’s brain architecture and affecting his or her short and long term health.” These are proven facts. It’s a shame that our leaders only care about what they want.

You know what normal political operatives do when they are approached by a shady Russian dude claiming to have dirt on your political opponent? You call the FBI. Not on the entire Trump team, how many of them took the bait?

Paul Ryan said “My life changed the day I became a father.” Normally, I would agree with that. Children have a tendency to do that. But this current crop of politicians are morally bankrupt. They have a level of willful ignorance when it comes to helping anyone in need. I shudder to think that they are parents.

Lou Dobbs said that the “White House should assign someone to slap the hell out of somebody.” Sure, slap the press for expecting an answer. What’s next … dragging them out, beating them, jailing them? Do you want to be like Russia and North Korea? I hear the crunch of Gestapo boots.
