Are the farmers going to be drug-tested before they receive their welfare?
(Thursday’s) anti-violence protest march and all of these prayer vigils in Chicago are a total waste of time. Does anyone really think that the gangbangers are going to stop shooting just because people march or pray? They are probably just laughing.
How unbelievable can any political party actually expect voters to believe that by any party would not FAVOR themselves in any future elections.
The elimination of nearly a third of voting precincts in Lake County should outrage everybody, and the excuse that it will “save money” is a shallow excuse for making it a hardship for thousands of people to cast their vote. Gerrymandering, voter ID laws, and now elimination of places to vote — Republicans will do anything to manipulate elections. Only one solution. No matter how difficult it might be, vote them out!
The median strip on Summit Street — between Main and Broadway (in Crown Point) is a disgrace to the community. The 3-foot-tall weeds and trash are an absolute eyesore. It divides Crown Point and Merrillville but someone needs to get this looking presentable.
For somebody who claims to have “all the best words,” Trump doesn’t use very many of them. It’s “no collusion,” “fake news,” “sad,” “witch hunt,” “enemy,” and other simple words available in any third-grader’s vocabulary.
Who will use the sidewalks along U.S. 30? Anyone have a clue?
These Democrats need to look at the positive side of tariffs on Chinese goods. Twenty-five percent of $200 billion is $50 billion. That will buy a lot of Democrat staples — food stamps, welfare, unemployment, summers off on workman’s comp., prepaid union dues, etc. More Democrats will be able to stay home and get paid for it.
I would think that the first step in making America great again would be to elect a grown-up as president. Not this cry-baby we have now.
Why don’t people focus on Trump’s booming economy? The stock market is not the economy. The economy is only booming for the 1 percent, wages are stagnant, and the middle class is living paycheck to paycheck. That does not signify a “booming economy.”
Those who showed up at Tampa for Trump’s rally were not an audience. They were a vicious, howling mob. The way they jeered, cursed, and even threatened the media is a disgrace. Every single Trump supporter should watch the video of this event, and then ask themselves if this group is something they want to be associated with.
Doesn’t anyone care about the time, money and effort that Russia puts into spreading disinformation about the United States and our elections. Why would they do this and how will this benefit them? This is not a joking matter.
Our state legislators refuse to alter any state laws concerning fireworks because they bring in revenue. This is a huge nuisance and a proven danger. Greed is always the deciding factor for our government officials. Vote these people out.
Sarah Sanders declined to comment on the horrific behavior of the Tampa rally crowd. She said, “We certainly support freedom of the press, we also support freedom of speech.” Except when it is directed at you. Ask the Red Hen or Michelle Wolfe, you have a whole other set of rules then.
