A story Wednesday on the Illinois House vote to approve a bill that would raise the legal smoking age in Illinois to 21 incorrectly said the chamber never held a vote to override Gov. Bruce Rauner’s veto of similar legislation last year. In fact, an override vote failed in the House in November.

An obituary on Stuart Scott in Wednesday’s paper inaccurately characterized the group NumbersUSA. The organization pushes for reducing legal immigration levels.

The Tribune regrets the errors.
