It seems to me the quickest and most efficient way to reduce mass shootings is to ban assault-style weaponry. We did it once as a nation. I don’t know why we can’t do it again. We haven’t figured out how to prevent and identify someone . . planning and carrying out a mass shooting so let’s remove the instrument of death from the equation. I’m not a mental health expert but I don’t think you can lay all mass murders in the lap of someone suffering from mental health problems.

Constitutionally mandated income tax rates and benefits are handcuffing our lawmakers from making meaningful solutions to our state’s fiscal problems. But where else does one get the opportunity to seemingly write their retirement terms, so maybe there is no incentive to make changes. I worked in the private sector all my life but I could never cash in all of my unused vacation. It was use them or lose them. I had to wait until I was 65 before I could collect on my $500 pension. If I switched companies, I could not accumulate years of service. The practice of bumping up someone’s pay near retirement so that they can get a larger pension, has to stop. Pay increases should be based on merit. . .
President Donald Trump wants us to buy Greenland? This one is beyond further words.
